    Val began her real estate career in Hamilton in 1987. In 1996 she completed her AREINZ studies and in 2009 was awarded a Fellowship of the Real Estate Institute of New Zealand. During her time in real estate Val has had Management and Training roles as well as having had a successful sales career. In 1999 she opened her own office in Mount Maunganui that eventually grew to 3 offices specializing in residential sales. Val has a strong focus on real estate education having been an adjunct tutor and a Work Based Assessor for The Open Polytechnic of New Zealand and the Skills Organisation. She has also been involved in the Waikato/Bay of Plenty/Gisborne region of the Real Estate Institute of New Zealand. Besides her passion for real estate Val is now the Principal of the Katikati office. Val spends time with her 5 grandchildren and is a fond gardener.
