    Angela Parker

    Residential / Lifestyle Sales Consultant

Being brought up in Rotorua, raising my family here and helping my husband, Wayne set up his Rotorua-based business, I have a good grounding in what Rotorua has to offer! We are so blessed to live in Rotorua, where, from almost everywhere we go, we catch glimpses of lakes and our beautiful backdrop! I am so excited about Rotorua’s future! I entered the real estate industry as I saw that it combined my work experience of banking, lending, marketing and sale and asset protection with my personal strengths. Lending + marketing + sales + asset protection + customer service standards + a compulsion to problem solve + communication skills + determination = a fantastic role in real estate! A sense of humour also helps! I have been in the role now for over three years and am as enthusiastic as ever. My marketing background enables me to think outside the square with advertising. Having lived rurally for the past 20 years, I have an understanding of rural life, and in joining the team at Harcourts, I have the ability to be involved in both the rural and residential markets. If you are considering real estate changes, please don’t hesitate to contact me – I love to help!

Rotorua has been my home for the past 18 ½ years. I met my amazing husband of 18 years while here with some Students I was training to be Early Childhood Educators, he was born and raised in Ngongotaha. We have since had 2 beautiful daughters, now teenagers, Aimee and Amber. I moved down from Auckland and I immediately fell in love with Rotorua and ALL it has to offer. The slower pace of life, the beautiful gardens and forest that we have right on our door step, the 13 beautiful lakes and then the beach is only 45 minutes away, and NO traffic jams. What is not to love! My family and Church life play a huge role in my life and I love to give all I do100%. My husband also runs his successful Pest Control business here in Rotorua and our girls attend Rotorua Girls High. You may have seen the Wolfgram name around, before coming into Real Estate we ran a lunch bar at Rainbow Mountain then Pluto Juice Bar in Hinemoa Street, that may answer your question of where have you seen me before. I have worked for Harcourts Rotorua for 3 years in a Marketing & Advertising Administration role. I’ve really enjoyed watching excited Purchasers and Vendors coming into the office at time of settlement and I’ve caught the bug! I successfully completed my Real Estate Licence earlier this year and decided the next logical step was to become a Sales Consultant. So with a lot of encouragement from our director I have taken the exciting step. With my background in Admin and Marketing at Harcourts I know I will be a huge asset to vendors and purchasers. Getting your property marketed properly can make all the difference in this fast moving technological world. For any Real Estate needs call me on 07 213 1527 or 021 857 136. This local number will be directed to my cell phone. Open, Honest, Focused My Commitment To You Is Guaranteed! Testimonials: I have great pleasure in writing this testimonial for Cathy Wolfgram. Cathy was our agent for the selling of our parents’ home at 3 Hulme Place, Rotorua. We as a family had just lost our parents within three weeks of each other, so we were all feeling rather vulnerable. It was only a matter of days afterwards when we approached Harcourt’s Rotorua for the house to be sold. Cathy was very compassionate and considerate towards us; beautiful cheerful and friendly disposition and Cathy made sure we were comfortable with the house selling due to our circumstances. Cathy kept in daily contact with me, and reported on all the visits to the home, offers made and what she or the clients were up to. I found her to be extremely efficient and we as a family were so delighted with the house selling so quickly. I would have no hesitation in requesting Cathy, as our agent, if we were in a position of selling again. We wish her all the very best in her real estate endeavours. Vendors of 3 Hulme Place Testimonial: My husband and I made the decision to sell our home last month. Thanks to the diligence and efficiency of Cathy Wolfgram within a week of our home being on the market we received a phone call with multiple offers, we even managed to sell our home for more than our initial buy now price. The sale of our home was managed so well and the entire process was smooth. Cathy was extremely professional and kept in contact with us regularly. I would definitely recommend anyone that is looking at selling their home to see Cathy, she did a fantastic job. Steve and Yarryn. Testimonial: My wife and I sold our house with Cathy Wolfgram. Harcourts gave us a great advertising package. After the first open home we had three offers and sold a week later, we are very happy with the service. Noel and Cathy

    Jon Parrington

    Sales Consultant

Raised in Rotorua and working since the age of 14 I've gained a variety of experience while working in retail and hospitality. I've always had a passion for property and decided to pursue a building career through the carpentry course at Waiariki. late 2014 I graduated, earning my pre employment building certificate. Soon after I was offered a job in the hospitality industry on the Lakeland Queen. While working on the boat, It became very apparent that I had a passion for 3 things, people, property and hard work. This made my purpose very clear and I was soon presented with an offer to enter the real estate industry at the age of 17 under the Harcourts Scholarship Programme. There I learnt the office roles and studied for my real estate licence. Just after I turned 18 I became qualified to sell real estate. The scholarship programme has given me a great background and wealth of knowledge to understand the complexities of real estate. I understand that buying and selling property can be a very stressful process, but I believe my job and purpose is to assist you into making the right choice, getting the best results, in a memorable way. His high level of motivation and helpful, friendly manner along with his commitment to provide every client with the same advice as he would a close friend or family member ensure that your property is in safe and very capable hands while being listed with Phillip. Testimonials I had the pleasure of working with Phillip Berry in his role as Rural salesperson for Harcourts Real Estate, Rotorua. He had the job marketing and selling my property which I had listed with Harcourts. This Relatively simple task gradually turned out to become quite complicated, but I am pleased to say that Mr Berry handled the situation confidently and professionally, Phillip regularly kept me informed on progress, supplying written reports and feedback every week and following up with telephone reports as required. I have no hesitation in recommending Phillip and the Harcourts Teams, services to family and friends. If you are considering putting your property on the market, contact Phillip first – You will be well looked after. - Mauren Ua-Marsh All the land agents I have had contact with recently didn’t give a bugger about anyone but themselves. When I contacted Phillip Berry to sell our small properties we found an agent with a genuine interest in seeing all our needs as Vendors. We were fully informed at all times as to the progress with interest in the properties. We received weekly written reports and regular phone calls and at no time did we wonder if our properties were ever going to sell. He was confident, direct and to the point in dealing with us and any prospective purchaser, so there were no long winded protracted negotiations. His positive attitude and hard work resulted in sales in a relatively short period of time. It was refreshing to find an agent with integrity. - Derek & Clare Ryan Phillip was employed to market our property in Reporoa. Phillip was asked to list our property because of his intimate knowledge of the local area and the contacts he has built up during the years he has lived and worked in the district. He was proactive with an advertising programme that was suitable for the property and kept us informed as to the interest that was generated. When negotiations were underway with prospective purchasers Phillip kept in regular contact with us which was appreciated. He was patient with negotiations and informative and helpful with advice. I would recommend Phillip as a diligent agent for selling real estate. - Alison & Clyff Harrington I was fortunate to come into contact with Phillip Berry as Rural Salesperson for Harcourts Real Estate when I purchased my first property. As I was a ‘Total Novice’ in this area Phillip was a great help and support in providing me with the knowledge and encouragement to make the deal a success. Phillip contacted me regularly to keep me informed of the progress or promptly responded to any queries I had, not to mention patiently explaining the process and in print in a language I could understand. In dealing with Phillip I found him to be very professional and reliable. I would not hesitate in recommending Phillip Berry to family and friends considering purchasing real estate in the future. - Liz Van den Broek We listed our property at Reporoa with Phillip Berry and found him to be honest, reliable and professional throughout the period our property was with Harcourts. He put a tremendous amount of time and effort to bring together a sale. Thank you very much Phillip. - Bruce & Jenny Rudland Phillip Berry was employed to market my property in Rerewhakaaitu. His professionalism straight talking and punctually I feel went a long way in sealing the deal on my property. Phillip took the same time to send me regular reports and he also kept me up-to date by phone. I found his manner and his approach to selling my property of a very high standard. He was a pleasure to deal with. - Dennis Barclay We have moved from Nelson to Rotorua. Phillip helped to make the process of purchasing a property ‘long distance’ an exciting and satisfying experience rather than an unsettling, stressful one. He was very helpful, returning phone calls, sourcing information, providing local knowledge and liaising between us and the vendor with diligence, patience and good humour. We would not hesitate to recommend Phillip to anyone contemplating a rural property sale or purchase. Thank you, Phillip. - Craig and Elizebeth Fisher We wish to recommend Phillip to assist, as agent, anyone who wishes to sell their property. Phillip sold our Reporoa Dairy Farm. With support from his Harcourts team he was able to offer an attractive package. His challenge was underway as we gave him our two properties to market. One a dairy farm property and the other a supporting run-off. Phillips preparation to marketing involved constant contact with us to check facts and to see the advertising met our approval. We had no apprehension about ringing him for advice or to sort out little hiccoughs which are inevitable when there are lots of folks involved in the marketing process. Phillip had no hesitation in responding to our request for peer support at the beginning of the exercise by getting top Harcourts personals advice throughout the process. It is a stressful time for vendors and potential purchasers. Phillips contact was great and we were never left wondering what was happening. We were aware each day of the level of interest in each of the properties. The challenge resulted in a sale at auction of one property and within a day for the other. We wish Phillip all the best. - Diarmid & Kathy Somerville We listed our lifestyle property with Phillip as we were aware of his excellent reputation and because of his contacts within the rural community. He had also successfully marketed a neighbour’s property. Phillip’s appreciation of the key features of our property and to whom these would appeal meant he could target his marketing accordingly. He kept us well informed of negotiations with the prospective purchaser’s and we were very pleased with the result. Phillip has a passion and enthusiasm for is vocation and he made the sale of our treasured home as simple as possible. We have no hesitation in recommending him to anyone selling a rural property. - Kate & Ian Smedley, Kaharoa We would like to commend you and thank-you Phillip for the way you handled our affairs. We appreciated your discussions and advice on the way the property could be presented for sale and we were very satisfied with the way you profiled and arranged advertising for the Open Homes. Thank you for looking after our home at those times. Also, the way you followed up on the potential buyers and kept us up to date and well informed. You were able to relieve us of a lot of the pressure in the way you handled things. We are well satisfied with your approach and initiative and wish you well in your future. It was a pleasure to deal with you and with Harcourts. - Phyl & Tim MacDonald When I decided to sell my Kiwifruit Orchard in Te Puke, I gave Phillip Berry a call. I knew Phillip was a rural agent with Harcourts, but had known Phillip for many years before that. Straight talking, punctual and thorough is how I remembered him and this is how he conducted the sale. Because he keeps Vendors and Buyer equally informed, the sale can proceed almost on a handshake basis and little problems are easily talked through. - Rens & Annette Groot We hired Phillip because we felt his initial appraisal of our property was very thorough and professionally done. Phillip was realistic regarding pricing and our marketing options. We found him to be very down to earth and his expertise secured us a satisfactory sale of our property. We would recommend Philip to anybody wishing to sell their property. - Thomas & Heather O’Conner My wife and I recently purchased a Kiwifruit orchard through Phillip Berry of Harcourts Real Estate, Rotorua. We found Phillip very easy to deal with. His own personal business acumen gives him an invaluable and impartial insight to a broad spectrum of business ventures. We are most impressed with Phillips integrity and the professionalism and expedient manner with which our transaction was conducted. Phillip has a natural affinity to the needs and requirements of his clients and we would have no hesitation in recommending him to anyone who is thinking of either listing or purchasing a property of any description. - Euan & Sarah McKnight

  • Shane Harris

    Shane Harris

    Sales Consultant

Shane was born in Tokoroa in 1965 and is 1 of 4 children who grew up in that small Waikato town which certainly had a true sense of community. After completing high school, Shane started a trade in engineering, a job which has enabled him to move around New Zealand as well as Australia. It was while he was in Australia that he met his lovely English born wife, Felecia. Shane bought her back to New Zealand for a holiday and she instantly fell in love with our beautiful country. This made it easier for them to move home permanently where they settled in Rotorua. They quickly bought their first home and started a family. Like any couple the first few years were tough and they strove to keep their children clean, educated and to pay their bills. After their youngest son was born, Felecia took a career move and became a Mortgage Broker, something she still does and loves. She works for Prosper and can help you with any financial advice. It was with Felecia's knowledge of lending that Shane decided he could do property development, something that he was quite successful in, having bought, renovated and sold 8 properties within a years time frame. It was by doing this that Shane found his calling. Shane knew that he wanted to help other people get the most out of their properties because at the end of the day it is the property that sells. Shane believes that his main role is to make this transaction as simple and as stress free as possible. It is by working with the positives, remembering it is someone's home and will be someone else's home. Having three great kids and spending time with them at their schools, Shane has had the insight to look at what Rotorua is about and it is the great community of our little town that makes people stay. There are alot of old fashioned values still within our town, people looking out for each other that is important to Shane. When Shane was purchasing one of his properties, there was an older lady who had a lifetime of memories in that little house and between Shane, his family and the Sale Consultant (who sold him the property), it took two days to help her move. Shane said it was great to see so many people band together. Shane is pretty much a guy who enjoys being at home with his wife and children, so his hobbies revolve around the home. In his down time he is out in his garage tinkering with his classic cards and playing with his model trains. Shane is also lucky enough to have Sky TV out there and like any true Kiwi lad, Shane enjoys shouting at the TV when the rugby is playing while having a beer. So whats makes Shane a great Sales Consultant? Whatever he does, he grasps it with both hands and is totally honest as he believes in telling people what they need to know rather than what they want to hear but more than anything he is not in your face. Shane believes in being patient while allowing people the space to breathe and assess, it is then that they will come back to you.
