    I have a successful Real Estate career stemming back over 20 years with Harcourts Ashburton when I started as the after school girl in the family business. I loved my job even though it was only for an hour a day! When the office administrator left to do other things, I filled in full time until a replacement was found. We never did get a replacement at that time and I am still here today....but now in a management role. I have had extensive training through the Harcourts Academy as a Property Manager and am a qualified Sales Consultant. I enjoy my different roles and every day is an exciting challenge. I have a lot of local knowledge having lived in Ashburton all my life, although I am always keen to travel the world too. I enjoy sports of most natures and play hockey in the Winter, Touch rugby in the Summer and I enjoy running, having completed the Buller Half Marathon, Kaikoura Whale Run and various other fun runs in the last few years.     I started with Harcourts Ashburton when I was just 15 years old as the “after school girl” where my duties included everything from running the reception desk, banking, assisting with new listings, producing and maintaining window cards and displays, to local lawyer and solicitor deliveries. After completing Year 13 at Ashburton College I went off to become a PA/Office Manager for one of New Zealands two Share Registries before moving to the Gold Coast, Australia for 5 years. In Australia I ran the administration side of a large commercial and residential swimming pool construction company. Upon returning to Ashburton I resumed my role at the Share Registry before rejoining the team at Harcourts Ashburton as Financial Controller. In my spare time I enjoy spending quality family time with my husband Darryn and our daughter Keziah, socialising with friends, reading, gardening and bike riding.

    Phil started his Real Estate career in Ashburton with a young family back in 1982 with Hanrahan Real Estate. He purchased that Business after successfully qualifying (by exam) to hold a Real Estate Agents License and the retirement of the owner. The business was re-named Phillip Kenny Real Estate two years later. It was in November 1989 that Phil took up the franchise of Harcourts which has commanded a very high market share over a number of years and he says that it is due to the caliber of his Sales staff. They say that ‘if you want to be successful, you should surround yourself by successful people’. This he has done and is delighted to recommend any of his staff for your buying and selling opportunities. Over the years Phil has represented the Ashburton District on the Canterbury/Westland Sub-Branch of the New Zealand Real Estate Institute (inc) which has now been replaced by the Real Estate Agents Authority. Phil has been an active member of the Ashburton Volunteer Fire Brigade since 1977. When he started there were around 110 calls per year. Nowadays they attend over 420 calls. This is quite time consuming on both his business and personal lifestyle “but it’s what you do when there is an emergency”, he says. Phil is now the longest serving original Harcourts Franchise owner (anywhere) and is secretly quite proud of that milestone. He has always been happy to train, coach, and support any Harcourts person anywhere and has often done so for people living outside of Ashburton.     Natasha joined the Harcourts Ashburton team in 2014 as a Personal Assistant to Lynne Bridge. Since then she has been assisting the office staff with general administration duties including maintaining the window cards and websites, designing the newspaper advertisements and has now completed her training to become a Licensed Agent herself. Natasha has three children: Dion, Curtis and Sophia, and enjoys spending her spare time with them. Natasha’s partner, Dylan, is the Manager of a dairy farm in the Hinds area. Natasha is looking forward to further developing an exciting and challenging career with Harcourts Ashburton.
