When Dylan's Mum and Dad moved back to Whangarei 3 years ago they promised him a tree hut, a trampoline and lots of lawn to kick a ball on.

When they arrived at Onoke Lane there was a great big deck and a wilderness. For 2 years Mum and Dad slashed and burned and burned and slashed and finally the place is park-like perfect. Dylan has a tree hut, a trampoline and lots of lawn. They even found a stream at the bottom of the garden and Dylan is allowed to paddle on hot summer days. Mum has a vege garden with silver beet (yuk!) and cherry tomatoes (yum!) and there are even fruit trees. But Dad dreams of driving the little digger again and Mum wants to create a better garden. Dylan wonders what could possibly be better. So, they are selling, have bought some land and moving back to the blank canvas.
